ELLE Coincidence...and High Prices

I wrote an article yesterday praising the new ELLE Spring 2009 line as the doll came out. I'm having second thoughts...it's so expensive!
Well, yesterday I put together an outfit using the ELLE doll and today Stardoll released their advertisements. One is almost the exact same as the outfit I put together!** CLICK TO ENLARGE

A new Real Brand doll has been released - ELLE Spring 2009! I like a lot of the items but some are just...ew.
One item that I couldn't keep my eyes off was this awesome dress


The ruffles on the lower bottom have such a chic look and the overall fabric seems so elite!

Personalize your Barbie Dress!

So the new Barbie dress is absolutely gorgeous and everyone seems to be wearing it. But what about those people who take it a step farther than just matching a pair of shoes with it.
I found two girls who had taken their outfit to the next level when dressing. First is filipinhamaria who has added Minishop items to the top half of her dress. Go check it out!

Then we have Pita329 who not only put together a great outfit but made an entire Barbie Dollhouse in her suite! You should really visit her suite to see just how intricate her dollhouse is.

I also thought I'd add my outfit to the mix. Basically I just added to the top half of my dress.

Starbazaar Search Bar!

After months of this idea looming in our heads, Stardoll has finally added a search bar to the Starbazaar. You can see a small magnifying glass tab on the left side of the Starbazaar.

You can search by color, brand, or clothing type. You can also put in your own price range!

Hi guys! My name is Joanna and my Stardoll username is jo_arias. I love to write so I thought I would start a blog illuminating Stardoll and its members.
First, I will tell you a little about me:
I'm 15 years old and I've been on Stardoll since early 2007, after the account/MeDoll/suite features were created and right before the major changes with the Shop and the creation of Clubs and multiple rooms.
I LOVE fashion and makeup, as most people on Stardoll do. I'd love to be perhaps a model when I'm older or a makeup artist to the stars.
I love to practice gymnastics, draw my own clothing designs, and watch movies.
By and by, you'll learn more about me but write now I have a lot of articles to write!
